Columbus Givens - had his first TD catch of the season and fifth of his career

Damon Hurst - had an interception, forced fumble, and a fumble recovery; all were career firsts

Ryan Leonard - had 1.5 sacks and now has 2.5 sacks on the season

Jordan Johnson - had his first career start and first two fumble recoveries

Brandon Jones -had his first career interception

Tyler Jones - had his first career start and first forced fumble

Devin Lowery - had his first forced fumble

Thomas Morstead

  • Hit a career-long 52-yard field goal and a 50-yard field goal and now has three 50-plus-yard field goals in his career (other was 50 yards against Arkansas State in 2006; is 3-5 on his career from 50-plus)
  • Was 2-2 on PATs to extend his SMU record for consecutive PAT makes to 58 (previous was Eddie Garcia, 34 from 1978-81)
  • Was 3-4 on field goals and is now 10-14 on the season and 23-32 for his career

Emmanuel Sanders

  • Had one receiving TDs and now has five TDs on the season
  • He now has 14 TDs for his career to tie for fifth at SMU (ties Kevin Thornal, 14 from 1993-96)
  • Now has 98 career receptions to move into 17th at SMU (passed Kevin Thornal, 96 from 1993-96)
  • Now has 52 receptions this season, which is tied for 13th in a season at SMU (ties Jeff Jacobs, 52 in 1986)
  • Now has 1257 career receiving yards to move into 15th at SMU (passed Kevin Thornal, 1247 from 1993-96)

Justin Willis

  • Now has 40 passing TDs for his career, which ties the SMU record by Chuck Hixson from 1968-70
  • Now has 3977 career passing yards, which is sixth at SMU
  • Now has 4758 career yards total offense to move into fifth at SMU (passed Ricky Wesson, 4604 from 1973-76)
  • Now has 346 career completions to move into sixth at SMU (passes Josh McCown, 340 from 1998-00)

Youri Yenga - had 1.5 half sacks and a forced fumble, both were the first of his career
