Junior (2011): Saw action in 10 games... Had nine tackles on the season... Posted a season-high two tackles against TCU, Rice and Pitt.

Freshman (2008): Came on strong during the course of the season and took over as starting free safety the final three games of the year... One of 11 true freshmen to play... Had 37 tackles to rank ninth on the team... Also forced three fumbles and recovered two... Made a season-high nine tackles with a forced fumble and pass breakup in the season-ending win over Northern Colorado... Had five tackles with a forced fumble and fumble recovery against Washington State... Earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors... Named the team's Outstanding Freshman on defense.

Prep: Was a two-time All-District selection, and earned Academic All-District honors as a senior... A finalist for the Houston Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Year... Chosen to compete in the 2008 Bayou Bowl... Led the team with 108 tackles in eight games in 2007... Had a team-high 95 tackles in nine games in 2006... Voted his team's Outstanding Defensive Back two years in a row... Also a team captain... Lettered twice in track and four times in hockey... Competed in four hockey state championships in Texas - two in high school and two with a Midget "A" Travel team... Was named defensive MVP twice... Earned first place as "Fastest Skater" in the ISHL Skills Competition.

Personal: Son of Tom and Cathy Worthen... Has one brother, Jason, and three sisters, Ashley, Angela, and Caleen.
