Sophomore (2010): Started all 14 games at quarterback... Named to All-Conference USA honorable mention... Notched SMU records in passing yards (3828), total yards (4072), touchdowns (31), completions (302) and attempts (508) Had consecutive 300-yard pass games on two occasions... Ran for 244 yards and four scores... Totaled 752 passing yards in consecutive games at Rice (371) and Tulsa (752)... Compiled a 137.4 QB efficiency rating... Averaged 290.9 yards of total offense per game... Threw for four touchdowns and rushed for one against Washington State... Completed 24-of-32 passes (75 percent rate) for 371 yards at Rice... Posted a season-high 381 yards and also added three touchdowns against Tulsa... Threw for 300+ yards in consecutive games against Houston (318) and at Tulane (354)... Rushed for a season-high 66 yards on carries against UAB... Completed 23-of-34 passes (67.6 percent) for 302 yards and two touchdowns in the Armed Forces Bowl against Army.

Freshman (2009): Took over as SMU's starting signal caller in the eighth game of the season... Posted a 159.9 passer rating to rank fifth in the nation and finished the year with a 5-1 record as a starter... Named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team... Named MVP of the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl after passing for a school-record 460 yards and two TDs in SMU's 45-10 win over Nevada... Named to's Non-AQ All-Bowl Team... His performance in the Bowl was ranked as the eighth-best among all players in the post-season by One of nine returning college football players to be given the Touchdown Club of Columbus' Award of Distinction... Completed 135 of 201 pass attempts for 1,922 yards and 10 TDs on the year.

Prep: A two-star and prospect... Threw for 1,550 yards and 18 TDs with only three interceptions in just five games in 2008, breaking his hand in the sixth contest... Completed 129-of-193 pass attempts... Also rushed for 297 yards and six scores as a senior... Selected as the MVP of the Bayou Bowl (Texas vs Louisiana All-Stars).

Personal: Two older brothers were All-State football players in Texas and received Division I-A football scholarships... The son of Cindy and Larry Padron.
