Freshman (2009): Played in the final 12 games of the season... Notched interceptions in back-to-back weeks - at Washington State and at TCU... Had seven tackles on the year... Named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Prep: Two-year letterwinner who started in his senior season at strong safety and in his junior and senior seasons at running back... Earned All-Orange County, All-Trinity League and All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) honors in his senior year... Collected 774 all-purpose yards as a senior, and added 60 tackles, five sacks, two interceptions in 2007... Member of the National Honor Society... Chose SMU over Georgetown, University of San Diego, UC-Davis and Syracuse.

Personal: Majoring in business and English... Parents are David and Elizabeth Mojica (pronounced: mo-HE-ka).
