Graduate Assistant (Defense)

A three-year Mustang letterman, Jeremy Gray is in his first year as SMU's Defensive Graduate Assistant.

Gray appeared in 33 games for the Mustangs over three seasons before missing his senior year with an injury. He was a member of SMU's 2012 BBVA Compass Bowl and 2012 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl Championship teams.

Gray's father, Jerry, is the secondary coach for the Minnesota Vikings and is a well-regarded assistant who has coached defensive backs in Seattle and Washington and served as the defensive coordinator of the Bills and the assistant head coach of the Texas Longhorns. The elder Gray played defensive back in the NFL for nine years and was a four-time Pro Bowler.
