Posted a 3.566 GPA while pursuing a Masters in Liberal Arts after earning his undergraduate degree in Management... Played in every game for the Ponies over the last three-plus seasons, starting 38 of the last 39 contests... Second on the team in tackles with 123 stops on the year.

Junior (2009): Started 12 games at linebacker and played in all 13 contests... Ranked third on the team with 83 tackles and 7.5 stops for-loss... Also forced two fumbles... Had 11 tackles in the Tulane win and 10 stops against Navy... Notched nine tackles in SMU's Hawaii Bowl victory... Named honorable mention All-C-USA by the league's coaches... Named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Sophomore (2008): Started all 12 games at linebacker... Ranked fourth in Conference USA with 8.83 tackles per game... Led the team with 106 tackles - 32 more than the No. 2 tackler... Notched 23 tackles against Navy, which ranks as the fourth-most ever in a game by a Conference USA player... Had 13 stops and two forced fumbles in the Texas State win... Also tallied 6.5 tackles for loss and four pass breakups on the year... Named to the College Football Top Ten & Pegasus News All-DFW College Football Team... One of 11 players named to the 2008 Conference USA Football All-Academic Team... Named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Freshman (2007): Earned his first letter, appearing in all 12 games... Had six solo tackles and four assists on the year... Had two-tackle games at Tulsa and Memphis... Blocked a punt against Rice... A member of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2006: Sat out the season as a redshirt... Winner of the Conference USA Academic Medal and a member of the Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Prep: A two-year starter at linebacker for Southlake Carroll... Helped the Dragons to a 31-1 record and the 2004 Class 5A Division II state title in his starts... A first-team All-State selection by the Texas Sports Writers Association and Dave Campbell's Texas Football... A first-team District 5-5A selection... Named to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Area Top 50... Chose SMU over Baylor and Navy... Also played lacrosse and ran track.
