Blocked for an SMU offense that tallied 325 points, the third-most ever in a season at SMU; Sophomore (2005): Played in eight games on the offensive line; Freshman (2004): Did not see playing time; 2003: Redshirt; Prep: Named first-team All-District along the offensive line after recording more than 50 pancake blocks as a senior... Also named Most Valuable Offensive Lineman in his district... Earned All-East Texas honors as well... Three-year starter who also played defensive tackle... Also a powerlifting and track & field letterman... Selected SMU over Baylor, Louisiana Tech and TCU... Coached in high school by Virgil Crowe... Honor roll student; Personal: Younger brother, Phillip, is also on the Mustang football squad... Majoring in markets and culture.
