Junior (2007): Earned SMU Defensive MVP honors in his first season as a starter, tying for the team lead with 82 tackles... Also notched two interceptions and five tackles-for-loss... Started all 12 games... Had perhaps his best game of the year at Arkansas State, where he recorded a season-high 12 stops... Returned an interception 29 yards against UTEP... Also had 11 tackles in the season finale at Memphis... Had seven or more tackles in seven games; Sophomore (2006): Played in all 12 games at linebacker and special teams... Had three stops in games at Texas Tech and East Carolina... Had pairs of tackles against Sam Houston and UAB... Recovered a fumble against Marshall... Totaled 15 tackles on the year... Member of the C-USA Honor Roll; Freshman (2005): Saw time in all 11 games, mostly on special teams... Had 12 tackles on the year... Had four stops against East Carolina... A member of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll; 2004: Redshirted in his first year at SMU; Prep: Named All-District safety... Also named All-Metro Defensive Back and All-South Texas Defensive Back... Lettered three years under coach Terry Morris...
