SOLD OUT! Single Game Tickets Are SOLD OUT For January 4 Men's Basketball Opener Versus No. 10 Connecticut

DALLAS (SMU) - When SMU basketball returns to Moody Coliseum on Jan. 4 at 1 p.m., the Mustangs will play No. 10 Connecticut in front of a sellout crowd. The ESPNU-televised matchup is the Mustangs' first game back on campus and first home contest in the American Athletic Conference. The event is a doubleheader with SMU women's basketball hosting USF at 3:30 p.m.
The renovation and expansion of Moody Coliseum was completed earlier this month. The renovated Moody Coliseum provides many new and improved features, including a renovated main entry lobby, expanded concourses with raised ceilings, club seats, loge boxes, private suites, group suites, videoboards, new event space, offices, team locker rooms and meeting space.
The Mustangs will wear red jerseys for this special occasion. Mustang fans are also encouraged to wear red.
The men's team is 9-2 in its second season under Head Coach Larry Brown. The Mustangs play at Wyoming (7-3) on Friday before opening league play at Cincinnati on Jan. 1.
The SMU women's basketball team is 8-2 under Head Coach Rhonda Rompola. The Mustang women return to action Saturday at North Texas before traveling to No. 7 Louisville for its conference opener.
Less than 30 men's season and mini-season tickets still remain and include the UCONN game. Other ticket options are available for the remaining men's and women's basketball games.
