DALLAS (AP) -- Bryan Hopkins scored 22 points, 17 in the second half, to help the Mustangs rally to beat Louisiana Tech 73-70 on Wednesday night.

Justin Isham hit the go-ahead jumper with three minutes remaining, completing a 14-point SMU rally in the second half. SMU (12-10, 7-7 Western Athletic Conference) trailed by as many as 16 in the game, making the comeback the third-largest in school history.

Isham and Devon Pearson had 16 points for SMU, which has won three straight for the first time this season.

Donell Allick and Wayne Powell led Louisiana Tech (13-10, 8-6) with 21 points each.

Allick's 3-pointer with six seconds left trimmed SMU's lead to two, but Corey Dean missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
