MENTOR VS. MOP: On Jan. 6, Larry Brown (SMU) and Danny Manning (Tulsa) will matchup as head coaches for the first time. Brown was the head coach and Manning was the Most Outstanding Player (MOP) of the Final Four as Kansas won the 1988 NCAA Championship. It will be just the second matchup as head coaches for a tandem that was head coach and MOP for an NCAA title team.
