Played 6 minutes and had a rebound in the win vs. Brown 11/29.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Played in 7 games... 7 pts, 3 rebs, 1 ast & 1 stl in 22 min.
2013-14 (Freshman): Played in 7 games, scoring 6 points, pulling down 3 rebounds in 9 minutes. Scored his first collegiate points in his first collegiate game on the Mustangs' second-to-last possession against Rhode Island.
Prep: Played his high school basketball for Memphis University School in Memphis, Tenn., under coach Matt Bakke...Averaged 9.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and two assists in 23.5 minutes, while shooting at a 40.6-percent clip in his senior year...Played in 80 career high school games, where he averaged 6.7 points per game in three seasons... Played his AAU ball for head coach Todd Day and the Bluff City Legends.
Coaching For Literacy (CoachingForLiteracy.org): Jonathan Wilfong and Andrew Renshaw, two then-high school seniors from Memphis, Tennessee, founded Coaching for Literacy in 2012. Coaching for Literacy partners with sports teams for a unique game-day experience. The mission of Coaching for Literacy is to increase awareness about the number of people in America who are functionally or totally illiterate and the social problems associated with illiteracy. By leveraging the unique power of sports, Coaching for Literacy supports local literacy programs and schools focused on educating elementary and middle school students. SMU hosted two CFL events in 2014-15 (1/31/15 vs. UCF and 2/19/15 vs. Temple). During the summer of 2015, Coach Larry Brown joined the advisory board of Coaching for Literacy.
