Prep: Played for coach Brian Lester at Heritage Hall HS in Oklahoma City...Named to the 2008 Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association Class 3A All-Star Team...Selected to the 2007 Pete Newell Big Man Camp...As a senior he played 27 games while averaging 9.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and totaling 25 blocks while shooting 50.7 percent (104-205) from the field and 53.5 percent (38-71) from the line...As a junior he played 22 games while averaging 4.8 points and 3.9 rebounds with 14 blocks while hitting 52.6 percent (40-76) from the field and 69.4 percent (25-36) at the free throw line...Also earned a letter in baseball as a freshman...Earned multiple academic and community awards including four years on the Heritage Hall Honor Roll, two years in the National Honor Society (junior and senior), Heritage Hall Upper School Citizenship Award as a sophomore, and the Patrick Carmichael Award as a junior for a basketball player that displays dedication and work ethic.
