Boise State 2008

K.C. Beard is in his first season with the SMU men's basketball team. His responsibilities include film exchange and film breakdown. He also evaluates all film sent into the staff, supervises and coordinates the setup and teardown for practice, and schedules shootarounds and practice times for visiting teams. Beard also manages the new Crum Basketball Center video equipment and assists in all aspects of the program.

Beard joined the Mustangs after serving as the team manager with the Boise State men's basketball team in 2007-08. He helped with the Broncos as they went 25-9 while capturing the WAC regular season and tournament titles and advancing to the NCAA Tournament. At Boise State, he assisted in team travel, video editing, recruiting mail-outs, scout team, and other activities involved in day-to-day operations of the basketball program.

He graduated from Boise State in 2008 with a B.A. in business management and minor in Spanish. He previously attended Big Bend CC in Moses Lake, Wash., where he played basketball for one season. He has also served a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to south Texas.
