Residential Camp (ages 10-14)

The Residential Overnight Camp is designed for players who want to participate in a challenging but fun soccer experience. Once at the Coach Hudson Boys Soccer Camp, players will be broken into small groups based on age and skill level. During the morning sessions, we will teach and correctly demonstrate the skills needed to improve the player's individual technique. In the afternoon sessions, players will be taught tactics and play small-sided games. The evening session consists of full-sided games in tournament format. During these games, the players are able to demonstrate the technique and tactics learned during the day.

College Prep Camp (ages 15-18)

The College Prep Camp is designed for our older campers and will give them an opportunity to experience what it is like to be a student-athlete at SMU. The College Prep Camp will feature morning technical sessions based on the training conducted for the SMU Men's Soccer Team. Afternoons will consist of tactical sessions and small-sided tournaments. The evening session will feature full-sided games. Many of the participants in this camp have aspirations to play soccer at the collegiate level; therefore we try to assist these players by giving them as much insight into the recruiting process as we can. The Coach Hudson Boys Soccer Camp employs numerous college soccer coaches who can answer any questions the players may have during the camp. The SMU Men's Soccer Coaching Staff along with the college coaches working at the camp will host a recruiting process panel discussion. The panel discussion is open to all parents.

Team Discount (overnight camps only)

A $50 discount per camper is available for teams registering 8 or more players.

NOTE: To receive the discount all members of the team MUST mail their applications together. We will make sure teams stay together throughout the week.

The morning sessions will consist of detailed training in modern goalkeeping techniques. Such topics include catching, diving, breakaways, crosses and footwork. The afternoon sessions will focus on the fundamental tactics of goalkeeping such as positioning, distribution and communication. In the evening, the goalkeepers will join the field players to compete in tournament games where they will be allowed to demonstrate what they have learned. At the Coach Hudson Boys Soccer Camp, goalkeepers can be confident they are getting the highest level of training possible.
