To the Student Body,

Saturday may have been the best student turnout we have had since I have been the head coach at SMU. I loved seeing you all there and the energy you created. I was very disappointed that we lost to East Carolina because I wanted to give you reason to celebrate and to reward you for your support!

I wanted to win for our team, but as importantly, I wanted to win for SMU! We all want to give you and our alumni a program you can be proud of.

We will get there. We will get there faster with your help! You motivate our players to play harder! You distract our opponents and you create an atmosphere that recruits want to be a part of!

Keep up the good work! We will do our part! Together, we will make this a big time program again!
