“We lost a good one”
Yogi Casas was a great ambassador to SMU and our basketball program. He loved Mustang Basketball so much that when he was planning his funeral with his lovely daughter, Candice, he asked that in lieu of flowers people donate to the SMU Basketball program! How about that! Here is a guy dying of cancer and he is thinking about our program! I was so deeply touched when I visited with Candice the other day. She brought me a gift that Yogi had made for me.
Yogi, thank you for all you have done for SMU and all that you continue to do. Rest in peace.
