We had a little break from our routine by attending the Maverick game Thursday night. Friends Ray Washburne and George Killebrew provided tickets to a suite for our staff and family members to attend the Bobcat game. It was a nice and relaxing break for all of us. Plus, I got to connect with some old acquaintances that are associated with the Bobcats:
- Buzz Peterson – Player Personnel. Former UNC teammate
- Larry Brown – Head Coach and former UNC player
- Phil Ford – assistant coach and former UNC player
- Dave Hanners – assistant coach and former UNC player
- Raymond Felton – player and former UNC player
- Sean May – player and former UNC player
- Matt Carroll – player and former Notre Dame player

My son and I arrived two hour hours early so we could visit with these guys as they shot around at the American Airlines Center. It was neat for him to see these men and it was neat for the players to see Tucker, now eleven years old! Matt Carroll last saw Tucker when he was 3 years old.

It turned out to be a good game, with the Mavs pulling it out at the end. Plus, it was a good time to socialize with the staff and their families.
