There is NOTHING like winning!

We opened up at home winning two of three in our Tip Off Classic. As a coach, I was frustrated that we didn't win all three, but if you are a fan you may have been entertained and encouraged by some of the play by our young men. We played fairly well against Houston Baptist and Alabama State. On Sunday we struggled at times against a talented and experienced Illinois State, a team that won 25 games last year and played in the NIT. Illinois State shot the ball better than any team that I can remember coaching against in recent memory. They put four shooters on the floor at once and their defense was very stingy. Hopefully, we will get better from the experience.
