There is NOTHING like winning!

Tonight we played Houston Baptist University in Moody Coliseum. I was nervous all day wondering how we would perform. Well...we performed pretty well as we won our home opener. I was impressed with our effort, our toughness, our team play and how we shot the ball. We also had more assists than turnovers. Ten players played most of the minutes and they all contributed nicely!

I really enjoy the post game work after a win. We eat a meal and talk about the game then we go to work. I just finished watching the tape of our game while marking highlights to show the team in the morning. Along with the edit tape I make notes on how we can get better. Then I watched an edit tape of Alabama State, our opponent tomorrow evening.

It is 1:50am and I will head home only to return at about 10am to prepare for a film session with the team at 11:15am and then watch more Alabama St. film. We then have a 2pm shoot around and a 3:30pm pre-game meal before our 7:30pm tip.
