The Mavs have been practicing in the Crum Basketball Center for four days now and here are some of my observations:

- Jason Kidd goes hard and his leadership skills are terrific.

- Dirk loves basketball. He is out there with a smile on his face

- Stackhouse likes to win....even in practice!

- Josh Howard is talented.....and remorseful for his recent mistakes.

- Dampier is HUGE! One of the biggest men I have ever seen!

- Jet Terry is a great guy! He brings good energy to practice each day.

- Rick Carlisle and his staff can really coach! They are a treat to observe.
