"Mothers"
With my wife in the hospital this week (we hope she will come home tomorrow) it made he appreciate her, and all mothers, that much more!
Today actually started last night as I had to make sure my kid's schedules were set with meals, rides and clothing! Here was today's schedule:
7am - alarm sounds. We had breakfast and fed the dog. Clean up.
8am - the nurse arrived to take care of my mother-in-law.
8:30am - leave house to take Tucker and a friend to football camp. Hattie went next door to be with a neighbor until her cheer camp at 2pm.
9am - observe son at camp while making calls and working my PDA.
11am - take my car to Sewell for maintenance work 11:30am - walk into house as a recruit calls. Take the call as I hear strange voices in my house. Dog is barking and scratching the mess out of my leg. I go upstairs to focus on recruit.
11:45am - painter was in house waiting for $. I write him a check. Medical supply serviceman was in the house picking up items from mother-in-law's room. I sign his work order. I feed the dog. I feed myself. I pack my son's broken Guitar Hero guitar to return via UPS Store.
12:30pm - leave for UPS Store then go to the grocery store to pick up the essentials - meats, dog food, milk, syrup and soda.
1:30pm - return home. Put groceries up. Return calls.
3pm - run errand.
4pm - pick up Tucker and friend at McCullough Middle School. Drop off friend.
4:30pm - pick up Hattie at cheer camp.
5pm - we visit Kelly in the hospital.
6pm - head home for dinner and to relieve nurse from watching my mother-in-law.
6:30pm - dinner, thanks to friends who dropped of a great meal.
7pm - watched Olympics with family.
8pm - recruiting calls.
10pm - kids to bed
11:30pm - finish up emails and text messages.
11:30pm - dog wet his bed!! Great!!
11:45pm - finish blog while wrestling dog to sleep with Olympics on TV!
Hug a mom today! They work hard and need to be appreciated more!
