You probably think...."Hey, Coach Doh is having a blast in Vegas! How much fun is that...watching basketball during the day and shooting craps at night!"

Not happening!

Here is a taste for my daily routing:

I just sat down for dinner at 10:30pm......at PF Chang's.....again! ("If the play works, milk it!!!" Orange Peal Chicken is the go-to meal!) The first game I watched today was at 8am and my last game ended at 10pm.....14 hours of either, watching a game or driving to another....I put 298 miles on my Hertz (plug) rental in three days! Thank goodness for GPS! Magellan is awesome (plug again!). My staff got me to use "Maggie" two years ago out here. It is an amazing device!

Our day isn't done yet! Milt Barnes and I met during dinner re the players we evaluated today and what our plans are for tomorrow. As I type at 12:17am, Milt is on the computer getting the updated "brackets" for tomorrow. He may be up til 3am planning for tomorrow!!!

Meanwhile, Steve Lutz got on a "red-eye" flight at midnight to fly to an AAU event in Orlando, FL.

Having a blast shooting craps?????

No.....just having a blast! Having a blast restoring SMU Basketball into the great program it once was! That is a challenge that we embrace as a staff and as a University!
