Thursday my family took a trip to a "little slice of heaven" called the Rough Creek Lodge. We went with Paul Rasmussen and his family. Paul is the pastor of the Cornerstone Church at HP United Methodist Church. It was a perfect get-a-way during the busy month of July.

We shot guns! A 22 rifle and a 22 pistol. We swam in their beautiful pool. We did the zip line....yes....it can hold a 250lb coach. We fished....big bass in the lake! Paintball was the highlight! My son loved paintball! It was fun to go out on the "battlefield" with him as we had our facemasks on with our paintball guns. What a great bonding experience with my son! He can't stop talking about it!

Perfect break for the family. We will be back!
