Is there a better place to live in the United States?

I have lived in a lot of places....a lot of nice places like NY City, Chapel Hill (NC), Lawrence (KS), Charlotte, Boca Raton, but Dallas may be the best place. The quality of life here is terrific, the people here are great, the economy here is as strong as any city in the country....good restaurants, good churches, nice parks.....great place to raise a family....good public and private schools....

I was downtown today and saw first hand what is happening there! Tremendous growth.....nice office buildings and condos.....green space being developed in unique ways.....

What a vibrant city! We are lucky to be in the middle of it here at SMU.
