This morning I had the pleasure of playing golf at Dallas National with two friends from Charlotte, NC. John Black and Don Williams flew in for dinner on Sunday then we teed it up Monday morning with our host Tod Fobare. Tod and John met through their daughter's boarding school. Don and I were classmates at UNC and John is UNC class of '79. Our friendships grew when I coached at Carolina and even more so after I left UNC. Friends are important and these two guys are special.

Tod was a gracious host at one of America's Top 100 golf courses. We had a good round of golf. Unfortunately, my partner (Don) and I lost to Tod and John! I played OK for a change, shooting an 89! I need to beg for more strokes next time!
