Beasley goes pro:
"Shocking news" out of Manhattan, KS! Michael Beasley will probably be the first player picked in the NBA draft. The college game will miss him, but the NBA game will embrace him! He will be a star in the NBA as long as he has a good personal supporting cast around him and he makes smart decisions.

Knight Time:
I have enjoyed Coach Bob Knight's insight on ESPN. He looks relaxed and seems to be enjoying himself. His thoughts are obviously terrific as he is one of the brightest minds basketball has ever had.

Dirk's injury:
I attended the Mavs game last night and they are certainly a different team without Dirk. The Mavs handled the Clippers, who have had their share of injuries too. Shaun Livingston has been out with an injury to his knee and Elton Brand with an Achilles injury. This is a great opportunity for other players to step up like Kidd, Stackhouse and Howard, making the Mavs a better team when Dirk returns.

NCAA Preview:
Two games I won't want to miss:

• Memphis vs. Michigan State – I think this will be an exciting game as the Spartans are tough and physical and will give Memphis a big time test. At the end of day, they may not have the guns to match up with the Tigers.
• Louisville vs. Tennessee – I like UL as their pressure and Pitino's experience are keys to the success of the Cardinals. Both teams like to press. Should be a great game to watch.
