No surprise that Jon Killen made the C-USA All-Academic Team. Well deserved! As I have said to Jon, his biggest challenge is to find out what he is passionate about doing for the rest of his life because is capable of being successful in ANY field - law, medicine, real estate, teaching, coaching, sales...

We head to Houston today to play Rice tomorrow afternoon without two of our players - Alex Malone and Mike Walker - as they have violated our core values of respect, trust and commitment. We will decide next week if they get to rejoin the team for the conference tournament in Memphis.

Tomorrow at Rice, will be Derrick Roberts last chance to play for SMU in his hometown of Houston. Almost like another senior night as his family will be there. Hope he plays well & we play well.
