"Bad Days/Good Days"
Saturday was a bad day as we lost at Tulsa.
Sunday was a good day as I watched the Giants win the Super Bowl with my son!
Our game at Tulsa came down to:
- turnovers - our 22 turnovers lead to 25 points for Tulsa.
- they were the aggressor in the first half and we didn't react to that very well.
The good news as I looked at the tape was that for much of the second half we had four freshmen on the floor - Papa, Mike, Ryan and Alex. The experience they are getting will benefit us a great deal in the coming years. They hung in there as we cut a 21 point Tulsa lead to 10 with 8 minutes to play. I was glad we didn't quit. We kept fighting.
There are bright days ahead for Mustang Basketball.
Sunday was a good day. Church with family, Mavs game on TV, pizza and then the Super Bowl! What a game! I am happy for Eli Manning as he gets to step out of Peyton's shadow, onto his own stage. With that said, it looks like those brothers have a great relationship!
Eli was fantastic as he orchestrated that last drive - the wild scramble and pass to David Tyree to set up the fade pass to Plaxico Burress for the winning TD!
Good day to be a Giant fan!
Go Mustangs!
