"Swishful Thinking"
My wife, Kelly, got together with Ashley Rasmussen, Emily Evans and Glen Collins through our church. We are members at Cornerstone at Highland Park Methodist Church and the pastor there is Rev. Paul Rasmussen. Paul is a former college basketball coach at Centenary College and an SMU grad. He is a young guy with a great message each week. The Methodist Church is involved in Nothing But Nets, a charity to help fight malaria in Africa! Ashley asked my wife to become involved. The NBA is involved along with Sports Illustrated.
It has become a fun project for the following reasons:
Through direct donations or pledging money for each three pointer we make you will help a young person in Africa live! A ten dollar donation buys a young person a net to put over their bed so they won't get infected by a mosquito carrying Malaria.
