"Injury Update"
Good news: Papa’s hamstring pain is related to his hamstring and not his back. He will likely be out until mid-week next week, but there is a sigh of relief that his back is stable!
Paulius Ritter has been struggling with pain in his right hand. It certainly limits what he can do, yet he is still so valuable on the defensive end and rebounding. Bennie Rhodes is out indefinitely with a stress fracture of his tibia and is in the rehab stage now.
Robert Nyakundi’s progress has been terrific. After finally making his mile time, he has been with us for several practices. We see a lighter, quicker Rob now. His stamina is much improved and he is a lot more active on the defensive end! And can Rob shoot the ball!! He is “redshirting” this season, but will contribute a great deal next year.
Hope to see you in Moody tomorrow against UCF. They are 4-0 on C-USA play.
