"6 Seconds"
There is a fine line between winning and losing, between feeling great and being broken hearted.
I woke up this morning and my first thought was the six seconds against Tulsa. What could I have done differently to help my team.....substitute.....zone press.....deny the point guard.....?
Today in practice we guarded that situation five times and the "white team" scored four times!!! We tried a soft zone press, we doubled the point guard, we soft trapped the point guard and we played straight man. Our "white team" is our second unit that runs our scout team. The team is pretty good now with Tomasz, Cameron, Mouhammad, Robert Nyakundi (he is back practicing!), Joston and Brett. They scored four times on our first unit which led me to believe that it is a tough situation to defend!
By the way, the addition of Mouhammad and now Robert, has really helped our team as the "red team" has to "bring it" each day going against the "white team" in practice! Robert made his mile time on Saturday. He looks very good as he has really gotten in good shape. I am proud of him.
Go Giants!
