Perkins Natatorium

Located in the heart of the SMU campus, Perkins Natatorium is home for both the men's and women's swimming & diving teams at SMU.

Completed in 1959 after being transformed from a gymnasium, Perkins Natatorium houses a six-lane heated pool with 25 yard lanes.

Perkins Natatorium packs the 2,500 capacity seating each year for two annual events. In November, Perkins hosts the SMU Women's Swimming & Diving Classic as SMU hosts one of the strongest fields of the year.

In January, the SMU men's swimming & diving team host the nationally renown Dallas Morning News Classic at Perkins. A fan friendly competition, the Classic consists only of sprint events among six of the nation's top programs year-in and year-out.
