SMU's outdoor facility, the A.R. Barr Aquatic Center, is dedicated to A.R. Barr, SMU's legendary swimming coach.
The center features a 66-foot-wide Olympic-size pool, four diving springboards, and a diving platform.
The A.R. Barr Aquatic Center was the site of the 1990 U.S. National Outdoor Diving Championships.
The facility hosted the U.S. National Diving Championships in July of 2002.
