WHAT ARE DIGITAL TICKETS?
SMU Athletics transitioned to a 100% digital ticketing and parking initiative for all ticketed events, beginning with the 2020 football season. This digital ticketing process reduces ticket fraud and loss of tickets, making for an even more seamless venue-entry experience. Will call and mailing tickets are still available for an additional fee. Digital tickets use email or text messaging to send your tickets directly to you after purchase. These tickets are optimized for display on your smartphone device.

tickets on your smartphone, including accessing tickets for digital entry, forwarding tickets or
selling tickets online. Download the SMU Athletics App: (Apple) | (Android)
Q: How do I access my tickets on my smartphone?
A: Visit smumustangs.com/digitaltickets for step by step instructions on how to access your digital tickets.
Q: What if I don't have a smartphone? Or What if I want printed tickets?
A: Fans without a smartphone can utilize the transfer functionality in their account to send the tickets to someone in their travel party with a smart phone. If that is not an option, simply contact the box office and request tickets to be printed for a $10 fee to be sent via USPS (only available if more than two weeks out from the event) or left at will call.
Q: What if my phone dies on game day? How do I get my tickets?
A: We strongly encourage fans to make sure their phones are charged prior to arriving on campus. If your phone is not available on game day, we will offer printed (or re-printed) tickets for an additional $10 fee at the main box office on game day.
Q: What if I don’t have internet access on game day?
A: To ensure seamless entry, we highly recommend downloading your tickets to your phone before arriving to the game. If you have an iPhone, you can store your tickets in your Apple Wallet or Google Pay (if you’re an Android user). This would eliminate the need for internet access when entering the facility.
Q: Can I print my ticket from home?
A: No. With QR Digital Tickets, all tickets are fully digital and only accessible on your mobile device. Your phone is your ticket. This includes any ticket forwarded/transferred to another account or purchased off a third party site such as, StubHub.
Q: Can I have multiple tickets on one phone?
A: Yes. You can swipe through your tickets at the venue if everyone is present. For easier entry, it is recommended to transfer tickets to each attendee. For instructions on how to transfer a ticket, visit smumustangs.com/digitaltickets.
Q: What if my whole party isn't with me when I enter the venue?
A: All guests must be present to use tickets to enter SMU facilities. Fans are encouraged to transfer each attendee their own individual ticket if they are arriving separately. A valid phone number or email address is required to accept a transfer. For instructions on how to transfer a ticket, visit smumustangs.com/digitaltickets.
Q: What if I forward tickets to the wrong person, can I recall the tickets?
A: Yes. You can reclaim tickets as long as they haven’t already been accepted by the
recipient. We recommend double-checking the email just to be safe. The recipient has 48 hours to accept the transfer before the request automatically cancels. If this happens, both parties are notified.
Q: Does the person I send the tickets to need an SMU account?
A: Yes. If they don’t have one already, they can easily create one in just a few minutes through the process of accepting their tickets.
Q: What if I have a windows phone, a blackberry or otherwise can’t download the SMU Athletics mobile app?
A: You can always access your tickets via your smartphone’s browser. Log into your account at smumustangs.com/myaccount.
